Description
Factors are the opposite of multiples. They are those numbers that will divide exactly into other numbers. Factors are the numbers which divide into a number. The factors of 12 are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12.
These can be shown as pairs of factors: 1 x 12; 2 x 6; 3 x 4. They all equal 12.
